The Maastricht International Cricket Club (MICC) began over a decade ago with a simple idea: To give cricket lovers in Maastricht a place to play, connect, and feel at home. What started as a small group of friends meeting on weekends has now blossomed into a thriving international cricket community representing players from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangaldesh, UK, Australia, South Africa, and more. Today, MICC is one of the most active and inclusive cricket clubs in Limburg—and a beloved sporting home for students, expats, families, and locals alike.
Cricket wasn’t always easy to find in Maastricht until a few years back. So a passionate group of players came together in the winter of 2008, found a ground, set up weekend sessions, and slowly built a cricketing culture that continues to grow.
